Ruffle your Feathers

Feathers are absolutely gorgeous and come in the most beautiful colors. They can be worn from head to toe...literally! Everything from headbands to dresses to shoes are being adorned with feathers this season. Although feathers may seem like an unlikely accessory, they are light and simple and can add interest to any outfit.
Feathers look fantastic with simple colors rather than busy patterns. Some feathers come in natural cremes and browns but you can also find exotic feathers in blues and greens. Bright colors can add excitement to your LBD for a night out while natural colored feathers can be worn during the day with a white t-shirt and jeans.

Get High (Heels!)

Forget flats, get as high as you want on heels! Retailers are making their shoes higher than ever this season. Whether you're looking for a pump or a boot, you'll find quite a selection. For the fall and winter, heels can be worn with plain or patterened tights for a fun look. Until then, rock your heels in a colorful minidress or hot pair of long jeans.
You may notice that many shoes this season are adorned with buckles and straps. This is a great way to update the classic pump for a new look. Also look out for bright colors; purple is definitely making a comeback.
These shoes will not only look hot, they'll make you look hot! Higher heels will eleongate the length of your legs, making you look leaner.
Style tip: don't skip the "walk around the house a few days" before you take these babies out, or you'll be feeling the burn!

This Season's Neckline: Asymmetric Reinvented

So remember back in 8th grade when everything was asymmetric...dresses, tops and even skirts? This fall you'll see tons of asymmetric duds in a new way, think Grecian inspired. The look is beautiful and elegant and comes in tons of styles to flatter every body type. From left to right: a pink and purple silk dress by Muse ($176), T-Bags one shoulder dress ($225) and the blue ruffle dress also by T-Bags ($215)
As easy as it is to pull off this look, it can also go wrong. Try not to wear any tops or dresses that are too tight. Prints will liven up any look...so don't be afraid to try something exciting!
