Each sale lasts for 36 hours, and features the best of the best designers. Gilt has showcased Marc Jacobs, BCBG Max Azria, Fendi, Burberry, DKNY and many, many more. Gilt has expanded their empire by adding Gilt Fuse (a less expensive, fashion-forward section), Gilt Man and Jetsetter (luxury travel from New York to Bangkok). Hot items go fast, so log on daily at 11 a.m. to check the best sales!

2. Rue La La (www.ruelala.com): Rue La La is a lesser version of Gilt Groupe, but offers many of the same brands. Each "boutique" is open for 2-3 days at a time. Similar to Gilt, Rue La La offers travel, menswear and home goods. The latest Bravo show, Launch My Line, will also feature their winner on Rue La La.

Sales aren't timed and aren't sorted into "boutiques," so you'll have more time to make a decision on that Fendi bag. Bluefly offers similar brands to Rue La La and Gilt but goes beyond by offering dozens of designers at once. Looking for last season's Phillip Lim skirt or a melt-in-your-hands leather Miu Miu bag? This is the place to come. Bluefly has added B.Fly, a younger generation's version of the original. Unfortunately, the prices don't reflect a teenager's budget. Many of the same clothes offered to women are in this section too.
